Leland Renfrow

Of counsel

Theft defense and record sealing. Leland works in English; Dariela or Amadeo join his calls in Spanish.

Leland spent twelve years on the other side of the courtroom as a prosecutor before he joined Ybarra Law. He knows how a theft file is built and which first cases a prosecutor is willing to send to a program.

Now he spends his days on theft cases and on sealing old records, which he calls the most satisfying paperwork in the law.

What he learned as a prosecutor

A first theft case is usually decided by what happens in the first month: whether someone asks for a program early, and whether the store’s video is ever watched closely. Leland asks for both in his first letter.

He works in English. When the client prefers Spanish, Dariela or Amadeo sits in on every call so nothing is lost.
